April 26th, 2016. This is also the day they had their first kiss. Owen brought his snake out to show Taryn, who kissed the snake, & Owen asked “So you’re going to kiss my snake & not me?” Taryn leaned over and gave Owen the first kiss!

Taryn and Owen were together while both were still in high school making them “High School Sweethearts.”

Owen and Taryn made it through 6 months of police training for the Detroit Police Department, which only made them stronger.

Their first year together!

3 years together!

Taryn & Owen’s last “hurrah” before Owen entered the Michigan State Police Academy.

The day Owen started his journey to his dream job; to become a Michigan State Trooper.

They spent as much time together during the 6 month academy as they could, while only seeing each other on the weekends, but still very much making it work!

FINALLY the day Owen graduated from the academy and officially became a State Trooper!

4th year together!

Their 5th year anniversary!
