Near the point where Taryn was going to take a break from finding love in the digital age, she swiped right on this guy named Randy on Bumble. He seemed nice, so she agreed to get coffee with him on Feb. 20, 2022.

On her way to the date, she called her best friend Maddy and said, "This is going to be my last first date for a while. If it doesn't go well, I'm deleting the apps for a few months. I just want two hours of good conversation and a free coffee - which doesn't seem like a lot to ask for!"

Well, the date ended up being a total of eight hours long with the pair staying until closing time at both the coffee shop where they initially met AND the bar where they got drinks after dinner that evening.

And it was truly, Taryn's last first date for a while (for forever).
