Taryn and Gavin's story began at the Fellowship Round Rock during their middle school years, where they first met at youth events. Their connection was undeniable, and they spent those formative years developing a deeply rooted friendship. In Taryn's senior year and Gavin's junior year, the two began talking and hanging out again. Taryn once asked her mom if she could have her friend Gavin come over. When Gavin left, her mom, Tori, said to her, "You know, I didn't know friends held hands." They still laugh about it to this day. Gavin and Taryn officially started dating on October 21st, 2018.

Taryn and Gavin get engaged!!! Taryn thought she was going to a wedding with Grace and Brooke (MOH and bridesmaid), when she was dropped off at a greenhouse where Gavin was waiting for her. It was the best day of their lives and a moment they will always remember. The rest of the night was spent celebrating with friends and family.
