Like all great modern love stories, ours started with a swipe. In March 2022, we matched on Hinge, and somehow, Michael’s opening line was good enough to keep the conversation going. For our first date, we decided to truly test our compatibility by diving straight into the chaos of the Southie St. Patrick’s Day Parade. Nothing says "meant to be" like braving the crowds, dodging flying beers, and trying to hold a conversation over the sound of bagpipes.

Against all odds (and with no green beer stains on our outfits), the date was a success, and we never looked back. Fast forward through countless adventures, inside jokes, and debates over where to get the best hot pot, and Michael eventually popped the question at the dock on the lake on Mount Desert Island. With the perfect mix of nerves and excitement, at the end of a scavenger hunt, he got down on one knee, and thankfully, Taryn said yes—then jumping into the water to celebrate!

Now, we can't wait to celebrate with all of you—our favorite people who have cheered us on, laughed with us, and will keep the dance floor going. Prepare for an unforgettable party because the countdown to forever (and unlimited cake) is on!
