Lia Vangellow - Maid of Honor
It’s only appropriate that the MOH has known the bride her own whole life, but the bride admits that the 724 days she had before her sister was born were the absolute glory days. Lia was more than happy to see Seth come along to share in her experience of Tate’s reign of terror. Now Lia enjoys when Seth backs her up on calling Tate out on her “special” qualities. But they both love her endlessly and Lia is grateful for the support and patience Seth adds to the family. Lia looks forward to helping bring Tate and Seth all the joy, magic, and harmony that they so deserve on their special day. Afterall, the world would be chaos without the love and order of a big sister, and Lia is proud to celebrate her big sister and the inspiring charisma she shares with all.
Kristin Newberry - Bridesmaid
Tate and I met freshman year of college at NSU when we decided to be roommates. While it seemed like random luck at the time that brought us together, I know now it was something much bigger. We quickly bonded over our love for dessert (Bluebell Ice cream to be precise), cats, and being goofy homebodies. I wouldn’t have made it through freshman (or sophomore) year of college without Tate as my roommate. Through all the highs and lows of college and life, we have been there for each other. While she doesn’t live a few feet from me anymore, we still make trips to see each other twice a year. She has been a rock for me throughout the years and stood by me on my own wedding day. I am honored to call her a friend and to stand by her on her big day.
Haley Watters - Bridesmaid
I’m Haley and I’m Tate’s “shark sister”. We got partners up as big-little on our college swim team when I was a freshman and she was a sophomore- and we’ve been inseparable since. Despite the distance across states between us, our friendship has never faltered. We love making trips every year to visit one another, playing mermaids in the ocean, and make sure the fire is fed while making s'mores. I’m so excited to celebrate Tate and Seth as the begin this new chapter together, and am prepared to bring many tissues as I will be crying (tears of joy) throughout the day.
Andrea Mozingo - Bridesmaid
Andrea met Tate in the marine mammal research lab at NSU. Even though Tate was in the undergrad program and Andrea was in the grad program, they still managed to make college memories together through a class trip to the Pacific Northwest. Their friendship blossomed when they were both living about a half hour from each other on the Sunshine Coast of FL. They became each other’s beach, brunch, and adventure buddies. Once Tate and Seth started dating, him and Andrea’s husband Ryan joined in on the girls’ shenanigans. Andrea has had the privilege of watching Tate and Seth’s relationship grow from the very beginning and is honored to be part of their special day!
Jac Doherty - Best Man
I had the pleasure of meeting Seth when we both graduated from basic training shortly after we joined the Army back in 2016. I really got to know him well in intel school when we both played for a soccer team together and served in the same platoon. Not long after we both got stationed at Fort Bragg, NC close to where he grew up and our friendship continued to flourish. He introduced me to his wonderful family who accepted me as one of their own and we forged a friendship that felt more like a brotherhood. We were born in the same week and even though we’re from completely different parts of the country we shared an almost identical path. I don’t think it’s a coincidence either. I think God put us in each other’s lives to learn from one another. And I am so grateful to have learned so much from Seth. He’s a great man, a righteous man even. And I am so happy for him and Tate because I know he will be an amazing husband to her just like he has been an amazing friend to me.
Austin Newberry - Groomsmen
Seth and I met through our significant others. I feel like we instinctively knew we were some bad hombres who like to misbehave. I am honored to call seth my friend because he is one of the best guys I’ve ever come across. He is always there to say funny jokes and just make me laugh all the time. I am very appreciative to be selected to be in Tate and Seth’s wedding!
Justin Jannini - Groomsmen
Seth and I met when I was visiting my friend Jac while he was stationed at Fort Bragg. We became close friends almost immediately and have stayed in touch ever since. Seth is one of the most supportive friends I have had, and I am very glad that he found Tate, someone who truly complements him.
Ryan Mozingo - Groomsmen
I am grateful and excited to serve as one of Seth’s Groomsmen. I met Seth thanks to my wife, Andrea, and Tate being great friends in college. Of course whenever you are meeting the boyfriend of one your wife’s friends, you are hoping he’s cool, likes sports, can chill while having a beer, and hopefully can laugh at some of the dumb and stupid stuff that you do. Thankfully, Seth checked all those boxes and I am honored to call him a friend. He is a great person and you can count on him for anything. Since we first met, we’ve spent hours talking and watching football, playing golf, and hanging out over dinner with Andrea and Tate. I’m happy to have the privilege of standing next to Seth and Tate on their very special day and look forward to seeing their marriage grow over the years.
