Lincoln's New Salem Townsite

You can walk through the old New Salem townsite where Lincoln lived from 1831-1837. Free will donation to walk through the small museum on site as well!

We love LOVE to go here. It is a museum that goes through Lincoln's life - complete with life-size wax figures and various informational videos and exhibits. It includes a theater presentation with realistic effects. Highly recommend!
