Tony and Tatiana began their story in the fall of 2017. They connected through Snapchat, where Tony asked a mutual friend for Tatiana’s snap. From November 2017 to May 2018 they developed a friendship, though that didnt stop Tony from pursuing Tatiana romantically during that time (was rejected 3 times 😉). By the end of May 2018, Tatiana revealed she felt more for Tony than just friendship, and they went on their first date. At the end of their date, Tony told Tatiana he “had a feeling they were going to be together for a long time”. They maintained a medium/long-distance relationship for 4 years while Tony went to school in Ypsilanti, Washington DC, and even when he moved to Florida for work. In October 2022, Tony moved back to Lansing to be closer to Tatiana. Fast-forward to June 2023, Tony and Tatiana went on vacation to Colorado with his sister’s family. While there, they went on a hike to Emerald Lake in the Rocky Mountains. At the end of the trek, they stopped to take a photo when Tony got down on one knee and proposed to Tatiana. He told her he wanted “to turn a long time into forever”.
