3-4 blocks from the hotel is the First Laureles Park (Primer Parque de Laureles), it is a tourist area and has many options for food and walking. (Keep some cash if you want to buy little things)
1 block from the hotel, you can find the D1 store (it's like ALDI).
For now these are some ideas about what you would like to do.
SATURDAY.
Saturday we can do the tour in COMUNA 13 (tourist place) it takes 2/3 hours.
SUNDAY.
We could go to Guatape all day Sunday. it is a pretty town out of the city, like 2 hours driving.
LA PIEDRA DEL PEÑOL - Guatapé has the most beautiful view at the highest part, where you'll climb a quick spiral staircase to the three-story viewpoint tower. From here, you'll get incredible 360 panoramic views of the entire countryside. To climb you have to pay like $7 dollars ($25.000 COP) if you don't want to do it it is okay.
BE COMFORTABLE! The weather changes super frequently over here! Wear practical shoes.
Bring cash: you would need pesos colombianos for the Guatape rock entrance fee, snacks/drinks at the top.
If you want to do something different or go by your own no problem at all.
The price would probably be around $30 dollars each ($120,000 COLOMBIAN PESOS) to pay for the tour all included.
Depending on how many people want to do the tour in Guatape, we would hire a guide and a bus. Or we can find something different to do.
SUNDAY it is always a busy day wherever we want to go.
A couple of weeks before we would update all the information here.
