T: It was a random Thursday night in April and I was getting a drink with a friend at a bar downtown (shoutout to Chadwicks) when Corey came over and started talking to both me and my friend. I remember thinking that Corey was so handsome and respectful but that there was no way a guy like him would be interested in me and was just talking to me to be polite while trying to pursue my friend. So imagine my surprise when he asked me for my Snapchat before he left. Of course I gave it to him and he hugged me goodbye and left.

He then texted me a day later and we began talking about everything under the sun but I could have never guessed that that would be the start to our journey!

C: It was a random night of the week probably a thursday and I remember seeing a beautiful girl sitting at the bar and our eyes locked. Her eyes were so inviting and beautiful I couldn’t believe she was looking at me. I made my way over to her and her friend. I remember talking to both of them so she wouldn’t feel obligated to tell me to get lost so she could hangout with her friend. I remember Tatiyanna telling me that she thought I was into her friend but really was trying to play it cool because I was captivated by this beautiful blue eyed girl. I remember at one point I told her I’d leave her alone and she told me to stay. The conversation flowed we talked about life and we were laughing through the night and when I left to find where my friends had gone she had that look in her eyes that said “don't go” I asked for her snapchat I hugged her close and when our bodies pulled away I held her tight and our lips collided effortlessly.

I missed her the minute I walked out the door and she’s been on my mind every day since.

T: As me and Corey got to know each other I very quickly realized that he wasn’t like most guys. He truly cared and loved learning about me and my story.

I remember I had to spend a night without him and all I could think about was how much I missed him and everything he does for me. In that moment I knew I loved him and wanted him to be my forever person.

I never truly thought I could fall for someone so fast and so hard but here I was falling head over heels for this man even after such a short time and I’ll never regret it because it really is true that when you know you know!

C: I’d be lying if I said I didn’t fall for her almost instantly. The moment she went home after the first night we spent together I knew I couldn’t live without her. She showed me how big someone's heart can actually be. The perfect combination of caring, kind, but also real. She had been through so much in life and she shined so bright. She accepted me for all of my flaws, believed in me and helped me believe in myself. She felt like home. One of the big moments was when I heard her sing for the first time. She was showing me her favorite songs and just letting it out. I could hear the pain in her voice and raw talent and beauty. I was and still am fascinated by her and she never fails to surprise me. I fall deeper and deeper everyday.

T: The night Corey asked me to marry him is forever engraved in my mind. As it was perfect and everything I have ever wanted. Me and Corey were in Milwaukee and were staying with my parents so we wouldn’t have to drive back home after our outing. My sibling (Atlas) asked me to go to Walmart with them to pick up breakfast items for the next day and I agreed but tried to get into pajamas first because I was dressed up. They insisted I wear my heels and nice clothes because we had to go before they closed for the night so with a sour attitude I went. While in the car I expressed how I really thought Corey was going to propose to me tonight at our outing and how I just wanted to be in my pajamas and go to bed. (Little did I know what was actually happening)

On our way home Atlas told me they want to walk to our childhood spot since we haven’t been in forever and to cheer me up. I told them okay will do as soon as I get pajamas. Again they insisted I wore my heels and nice clothes on this walk because they didn’t want to park at the house and wait for me to change. Again with lots of protests I went along with it and we started walking. As we approached our spot I saw a candle pathway and Corey met me and lead me to the exact spot me and my sibling would go and just get away from life. There he got down on one knee and asked me to commit my heart to him. I said yes and the rest is history!

C: I had never been so nervous in my life. I had the ring. I mustered up the courage to ask her dad Dave for her hand after failing on 3 different opportunities to ask him. Finally the moment had come. I had orchestrated the whole thing with her family and had a lot of moving pieces. We went out in milwaukee and when we got back her sibling Atlas took her for a drive and we had a small window to set up everything. On a snowy freezing late winter night her sibling brought her to their childhood spot with candlelight along the way. I appeared out of the woods (think I scared her a little bit lol) and asked her to marry me. She said yes and jumped into my arms. Then I picked her up and walked her freezing butt back to her parents house because it was COLD.

T: I hope y’all enjoyed a glimpse from each of us into some very important relationship milestones and we can’t wait to celebrate our marriage with y'all!

As to our future I know me and Corey will continue to love each other more and more every day and I’m looking forward to continuing our story (oh and having kiddos)!

C: Our future looks like getting through every obstacle in life together and having each other no matter what. Supporting eachother holding each other's hand through it all. We plan on getting a house, having kids (Tatiyanna has always wanted to be a mom), having fun laughing, raising fur children and human children alike. Traveling, dancing and loving through every walk of life and growing old together. Cherishing every moment because I’m the luckiest man alive and I plan to make her feel like the most loved woman alive everyday until the day I die.
