It all started with two Midwest girls that found their way to the sunshine state after college! Abbey moved to Fort Myers in 2015 to pursue a career in journalism at Waterman Broadcasting. Soon later, Tatum made the journey down south to start her career at Gartner in 2017.

Through mutual friends and the help of a dating app, Tatum and Abbey were introduced and started to get to know one another. For their first date, the two decided to get sushi at their now favorite spot, Blu Sushi off of McGregor. They immediately felt a connection and after several laughs and glasses of wine they realized they were the last two people left in the restaurant. This first date kicked off what has now been 5 years of love, laughter, and lots sushi nights!

In March of this year, Tatum and Abbey planned a trip to Europe with some of their best girl friends. Little did Tatum know, Abbey had a surprise up her sleeve. She pulled off the most romantic proposal possible at Trocadero, a stunning spot that overlooks the Eiffel Tower. Although a Paris proposal was tough to top, Tatum managed to surprise Abbey in May when she proposed back, bringing friends and family together in Columbus to celebrate.

Tatum and Abbey could not be more excited to take this next step in their relationship. The special day will be celebrated with they people that mean the most to them, their family and friends, back where their love story began in Fort Myers!
