Robert and I met back in college! I would like to say it was love at first site, but it really started out with jokes, teasing and scaring the heck out of me (and none of that has really changed).

Little did I know that dancing to Shania Twain on a back road somewhere around Dillon, MT I found my soulmate. We briefly dated in the fall of 2013, but at the end of the school year we were both headed in different directions, and we parted ways. We always stayed pretty close friend over the years and chatted often while he was trucking and seeing the world.

I moved to Great Falls in 2015 for beauty school and throughout the years we would meet up for the random Chili dates, back roads trips and movies, when he was home visiting his family.

In November of 2020 it was no different, I got a text saying that he wanted to talk when he came home for Thanksgiving. On our drive he told me, that we should do this for real! I didn't answer him that night...

This is what I had dreamt of since 2013 and I couldn't believe it was actually happening. On December 2nd, 2020, I met him at Flying J, right when he was heading back on the road for 3 weeks and I told him let's do this and it's about damn time!

It only took us almost 10 years to get it figured out but it was worth the wait and this is just the beginning!
