“Our Story”

Our story is a very fun, complicated, and stressful sequence of events that inevitably turned into what we call our loving relationship as we see it today. It all started in the Fall of 2019…. Sophomore Mason had just moved into his very first apartment with himself and three of his closest buddies. The first two weeks of college (the heavenly two weeks before classes start) all he had on his mind was football, frat parties, and wings. That all changed when one of Mason’s roommates invited over his “hometown friends” to the apartment who happened to be girls. A special guest would also be making an appearance with them…….. The super hot redhead roommate. Mason immediately called dibs (so he claims) and from there his pursuit for Tatum took flight. Tatum and Mason would find each other at lots of the same parties, hangouts, functions, or even football games. There were times where the two of us were the best of friends, and other times where Mason’s plan for Tatum’s heart was less impactful than he may have hoped for. Anyways, that part is not important…….. Fast forward to Mason’s senior year of college and Tatum’s junior year. At this point the cat is out of the bag, Mason’s feelings for Tatum are well known by all, including Tatum. The two of us spend all of our time together, take each other to our date functions, and talk on the phone all night.

Things are beginning to get real, Tatum may like Mason back, and her mom is even rooting for him! It took much convincing & multiple plans, but Mason finally came up with the perfect game plan for Tatum to date him.

Simple, Mason asked Tatum if she would try out being his girlfriend for one week, and after that one week was over, if she did not want to be with him anymore then he would have to live with it.

Well, it has been a little over three years now and I haven’t heard back on the trial so things must be going well! Funny thing is, we wouldn’t change any of it for the world.
