Like all great love stories, ours began with a little bit of fate and a Facebook message. It was September 2020, the world was at a standstill, but somehow, amidst all the uncertainty, we found something special in each other.

Tatyana, a Brooklyn girl from Bay Ridge, and Mike, a Brooklyn boy living across the pond in Rockaway, started talking online, not knowing that a simple conversation would change everything. What began as late-night messages turned into hours of laughter, music swaps, and deep talks that made time disappear. It wasn’t long before we decided to meet in person, and from that moment on, we were inseparable. Days turned into nights filled with discovery, connection and long drives with no destination, just us getting to know one another.

Five weeks later, Mike pulled a bold move, he invited Tatyana to a wedding as his girlfriend. No pressure, right? That night, we danced, we laughed, and we realized that this was something special and it was the beginning of forever. Eight months later, we made it official and moved in together, blending our lives, and turning our love into a home. We weren’t perfect, and we never pretended to be. We had a lot to learn about ourselves, about love, about the kind of partners we wanted to be. Side by side, hand in hand, we built something real, something lasting.

The past five years have been a beautiful, messy, hilarious adventure. We’ve traveled the world together and built a love that is equal parts laughter, patience, and unwavering support. Somewhere along the way, we lost our beloved Juju and also became cat parents to two new little troublemakers who rule our home.

Now, we’re stepping into the next chapter, marriage. We can't wait to celebrate this incredible journey with all of you!
