Tatyana and Garrett happened to cross paths in the best vacation spot on the East Coast… The Outer Banks in North Carolina. A few days after Garrett had moved down for the summer, a mutual friend introduced them on a beach day and this friendship blossomed.


Garrett and Tatyana started dating in the summer of 2021 and took on long distance between Auburn, AL and Biddeford, ME starting in the fall of 2021. With many flights and special activities planned, they grew closer as time went on. Tatyana graduated in May of 2022 and decided to spend another summer in the Outer Banks with Just for the Beach Rentals so they could be within driving distance of Garrett. Garrett had been offered an internship at the Newport News Shipyard as a Engineering Technician which gave him the opportunity to visit on weekends throughout their summer.

After the summer, Tatyana moved down to Auburn, AL to live with Garrett before he graduated from Auburn University in December of 2022. A few weeks before Garrett’s graduation, he proposed when they were up in Massachusetts surrounded by both of their families... now the rest is history!

Now they are happy in Jacksonville, FL living close to the beach and soaking up all the sun!
