It all started in 2020 - a strange year to begin anything, but somehow, life had other plans. Thanks to mutual friends (and a few lucky group hangouts), our paths kept crossing. At first, it was casual: weekends with friends, game nights, bonfires - just two people in the same orbit.

Then came the accidental double date. What was supposed to be a large group activity, ended up being just the two of us and another couple. So, we went ice skating. (Spoiler: only one of us was good at it - we will let you guess who!) After skating, we spent the night talking… and talking… until suddenly the sun was threatening to rise. We realized we had more in common than we ever expected - the same humor, values in life, random obsessions, and most importantly a love of God and Jesus Christ.

From there, things just fell into place. Before seeing eachother we started to get nervous about whether our outfits were good enough, or if the cologne/perfume was strong enough - but not too strong. Tavin started wearing sweatshirts more - in case Paige got cold. What started as casual turned into constant. Weekend hangouts became weekday check-ins. Before we knew it, our friendship turned into love - the kind that grows naturally and steadily.

Over the past three and a half years, we’ve gone on countless adventures together - from fishing trips, to hiking local trails, hitting the slopes (Paige skis, Tavin snowboards… and yes, it’s a whole thing), visiting Texas and California, movie marathons, wandering Disneyland (which Tavin claims he’s “just as obsessed” as Paige), and spending time at car meets (where Paige returns the favor). From meeting each other’s families, learning from one another, and experiencing so much joy and growth together - we have slowly built a life that feels like home.

And after three and a half wonderful years together, we’re so excited to say… we’re getting married!
