On August 17, 2018, Brent's search for a new home brought him to Gentry Square. He met Tawn, the Property Manager, and despite an immediate connection during the tour, the timing was off for both of them.

How it Began

Fate had a strange sense of timing. On August 19th, 2021, almost three years to the day since their first encounter, Tawn and Brent found themselves in the same room again. This time, it was at a Chamber of Commerce event held at Legends Apartments, where Brent now lived. Little did they know, Legends was part of Tawn's company's portfolio, bringing her there to support her team. Mackenzie, a Legends employee, saw an opportunity and decided to play Cupid, blissfully ignorant of their shared history. Though their conversation was brief, the seeds of possibility were sown, with both now aware of the other's availability.

They Meet Again

Brent knew he'd let a chance slip away at the Chamber event. To rectify this, he employed a two-pronged approach: an email to Tawn, expressing his interest, and a Facebook friend request. This strategic move proved successful, as he woke up to a message from her, initiating their conversation.

Following a flurry of texts and calls, Tawn and Brent's rekindled connection quickly led to a first date. Just four days after reconnecting, they met at El Patio, a Mexican restaurant, on August 23rd, 2021. The evening culminated in their first kiss, shared under the watchful eyes of diners at Billy Barooz across the street.
