Their story began in a place neither of them expected, Sports bar in Fargo, North Dakota. It was just a typical night out with friends, but when the bride’s Maid of Honor made an introduction, something clicked. A few days later, the bride sent a text to the groom, inviting him to hang out. There was no big plan, just a chance to spend some time together. One night led to another, and before long, they realized this was something real. On April 9th, 2021, they officially became a couple.

At the time, each of them already had a dog , she had Dude, and he had Dakota. The dogs became fast friends, and so did their owners. The four of them quickly settled into a rhythm, sharing everyday moments, inside jokes, and a growing bond that just felt easy and right.

In December 2023, they moved to Mora, Minnesota, ready for a fresh chapter. With the new year approaching, the bride thought they were hosting a simple New Year’s Eve party, a fun way to ring in 2024 with friends. But the groom had something else planned.
