One of the most beautiful places in CO!! They started to implement a reservation system for the peak season, so if you want to go, look for a reservation around 3-4 months before! The reservations are only required from 9am-2pm, so if you don't manage to get a reservation you could go before 9am or after 2pm! Here's a list of great hikes:

I recommend Emerald Lake (pictured here).
Visit (or stay at) the iconic hotel from Stephen King's The Shining! It's a beautiful and unique place to go even if you don't book a room there. They have daily tours with information on their website.
After a hike in RMNP, stop by one of Estes Park's local breweries! Website below takes you to descriptions of the top 5!
Trail Ridge Road is the highest continuous paved highway in North America and is one of Colorado's most famous routes! If you want to see sweeping vistas without the exercise this is for you! Since it goes through RMNP, you'll still need a timed entry permit if traveling between 9am-2pm. PSA: this drive takes you all the way to 12,000 ft so if you are sensitive to elevation it may be best to sit this one out.
Downtown Estes Park is a quaint area nestled beneath the mountains and has lots of shops and restaurants to explore! Stroll along the Riverwalk with a coffee and breathe in the fresh air.
If you're into bluegrass, this is the festival for you! It's taking place from July 12-14, 2024 at Stanley Park.
