Did you travel all this way to see some big mammals from the sea? Just below Hearst Castle, approximately 10 miles from Cambria, is the Elephant Seal Viewing Point, where you can catch a glimpse of some large, lounging seals. April will be just about the time when female elephant seals and juvenile seals will be making their return to the beach after a long, winter journey at sea.

About 2 and a half hours north of Cambria sits Monterey and the infamous Cannery Row and Monterey Bay Aquarium. While it is a longer trek from the wedding venue, it's a fantastic day trip for those coming in a little sooner or staying a little later.
