On March 23, 2016, he walked in with a few friends to the restaurant where I was working and I ended up being their server.

Every now again, we would exchange some eye contact or a smile, but I really didn’t think anything would come of it. After some convincing from one of those wonderful friends, he said “Excuse me, miss” and asked if he could take me out on a date.

I was a little surprised, but I confidently said yes. On March 28, 2016 we went on that first date. We spent hours and hours talking and getting to know each other. Neither of us really knew where it would go from there, but we both left the night feeling excited for the next time we could see each other. Soon enough more dates and adventures were being planned. We began introducing each other to friends, then to family, and doing everything together in between.

We feel incredibly lucky to have found each other when we did and look forward to all that is to come. ❤️
