Our story is a short one. We met in 2016 while both in the Navy and only knew each other in passing. Fast forward to 2020 Taylor had just moved to Virginia and Zach was attending schools for his next duty station in Bahrain. Being one of the only people in Virginia she knew, she slid into his DM's and asked if he wanted to hang out. Their first date was to a Norfolk Admirals hockey game (fitting for Zach). We then had a handful of dates back to back and just were together ever since. He moved to Bahrain for 2 years. He moved back to Virginia after leaving the Navy. Once Taylor had left the Navy as well, they decided to pick up, buy a farmhouse built in 1850 in Groton, and start building their forever.
