2016-2017 is when Tay joined ASCE (the civil engineering club) at WVU. She got more involved in the club by joining the concrete canoe team and always heard mumbles from people such as "that's such a mike deyoung move" or "oh that's something mike deyoung would do". Who was this mysterious "mike deyoung" and why was everyone alluding that he did such crazy things?? Well, at the spring ASCE conference she finally met the infamous Mike DeYoung, a steel bridge member team member and guy that helped with the concrete canoe. Fun Fact: This was the first time Mike met Tay's parents! Him and Robby went up to her parents and asked "who has the better butt??" Unfortunately for Mike, Robby won that competition.

Oh the wonderful college times of thirsty Thursdays & 25 cent mixed drinks! Tay used to bring her quarters & put them in Mike's shirt pocket so he could buy her drinks.
