During out time in Paris we decided the best way to experience the culture was through food. Our chef and guide to French cuisine led us through the streets of Paris to collect our fresh ingredients from the local markets for our meal that evening. The menu consisted of:
Green asparagus with maltese sauce
Roasted fish fillets
Fish fumet (Fish Stock)
Red pepper fish sauce
Julienne de légumes
Tulipe de fruits rouge
and a surprise at the end...
After closing the meal with our sweet treat of tulipe de fruits and our bellies full of good food and wine, we began to say our goodbyes to our cooking companions and chef. While taking a photo to capture the memory of our experience, Taylor slyly reached into his pocket, got down on knee, and asked Kelsi to share the rest of his life with him. With big smiles, happy dances, and full hearts, we toasted to the rest of our lives spent together.
