Our historic Orpheum, State and Pantages theatres light up Hennepin Avenue with the best of Broadway and top-tier live entertainment. Annually, the Trust serves more than 8,000 high school students statewide and brings nearly 600,000 people to the Hennepin Theatre District to experience art on the street and stage.

Explore more than 60 sculptures from the Walker’s collection on 11 scenic acres in the heart of Minneapolis. Spoon and Stable is a restaurant located in what was once a horse stable, dating back to 1906, in the heart of the North Loop Neighborhood. It is the dream of Chef/Owner Gavin Kaysen, a James Beard award-winning chef to bring his talents back home to Minneapolis, where he grew up. The cuisine is focused on the seasonality of the Midwest, the roots of the local culture and technically inspired by the French cuisine for which Chef Kaysen is known.
Three women who loved serving breakfast Downtown Minneapolis decided that their passion for cooking and serving should be taken big, and opened a place of their own. The food, the ambience and everything here reflect the vision and vibrant energy of these 3 incredible women.

Are you even a beer fan if you haven’t tried Freehouse? The Freehouse is a popular brand located in the historic North Loop on Washington Avenue.
The Freehouse features a cocktail bar and restaurant apart from the onsite brewery. The delicious hand-crafted cocktails and beer can be enjoyed in a trendy, hip and intimate ambience and set up. The patio is lovely, with shade and fire pits you can cozy up to when it gets chilly.
The food menu here is extensive and can satisfy even the pickiest of eaters or those looking for something unique palate wise. They are open for delivery and takeout.
If you’re looking for an exceptional restaurant to celebrate a special occasion, the Freehouse is your perfect place.
Martina has a full bar that serves an extensive selection of wine and craft beers. It has got its cocktail game on point as well, that is unique yet relatable.
The ambience is trendy, classy and intimate. The restaurant itself is beautiful, with lots of white and gray shades, exposed walls and ceilings and a lovely patio.
The food draws inspiration from Italian and Argentine cuisines. You could start your meal with house-made empanadas or cinnamon fried calamari. Warm-up with a bowl of hand-crafted Gnocchi with brown butter and sage or try the Churros. Or just go big, go bold and feast into the 32oz. Ribeye with your group. This is a terrific date spot or hangout for a small group of friends.
Get dressy and go to the Martina for a great dining experience! Their menu is available for carryout or delivery.
Sovereign Grounds might be the Cities’ most parent-friendly coffeeshop: It has a big playroom, outfitted with miniature log cabins, slides, books, and building blocks, just for kids. Owner Hakan Sezer, who immigrated to Minnesota from Turkey, has done much to make Sovereign Grounds a community space since opening it in 1995. Come for the house-roasted Fair Trade beans, the plentiful menu of sandwiches and pastries, and the general coziness.
When Lee Carter and Caleb Garn founded Five Watt in 2014, they catalyzed the coffee-as-cocktails trend in the Twin Cities. Using the shop’s own bitters line, baristas concoct unique flavor combos like the beloved Kingfield, made with Five Watt coriander bitters and vanilla. Choose any of the four locations — each one has a unique vibe, but all are equally welcoming.
What’s the biggest plus at Duck Duck Coffee: the Nesquik mocha or the Pac Man game in the corner? This cozy south Minneapolis coffeeshop is stuffed to the brim with plants, board games, and good vibes. (Owner Kat Naden always has work from local artists hanging on the walls, too.) Come for chocolate chip cookies, nutmeg-laced miels, and chai made with Assam tea and fresh spices.
