Looking back it is amazing to see how many times Taylor and Grant’s paths intersected before they truly met each other as adults.&nbsp; Taylor attended St. Peter’s Lutheran School for preschool and kindergarten while Grant started attending St. Peter’s in 1st grade.&nbsp; It’s so interesting how they just missed each other during this stage of their life.&nbsp; They have a mutual friend from St. Peter’s that invited them both to her birthday party in 5th grade.&nbsp; Years later they were surprised when they found a picture with both of them from this party.&nbsp; It would be almost 10 years later when their paths would cross again at ISU.&nbsp; Grant was in the same major as some of Taylor’s friends, and they actually met for the first time at a PE Bar Crawl at good ol’ ISU.&nbsp; They hung out as a group but nothing more yet.&nbsp; It wasn’t until 5 years later near the beginning of 2022 when a friend texted Grant asking if him if he remembered Taylor.&nbsp; He said, “Of course I remember your blonde friend!”&nbsp; After some encouragement he asked Taylor out and their first date was in downtown Arlington Heights at Beer on the Wall near where Taylor lived.&nbsp; They spent the next few months getting to know each other.&nbsp; Taylor learned about Grant’s love for the Cubs, Duke basketball, and Nirvana.&nbsp; While Grant experienced Taylor’s passion for working with children, ice cream, and lake days.&nbsp; It wasn’t until they were at a Cubs game in June of 2022 when they made it official and became boyfriend/girlfriend.&nbsp; After almost 2 years of dating on December 22, 2023, Grant “popped the question” that made them both feel like they were the luckiest people on Earth.&nbsp; They celebrated their engagement with family and friends at a surprise engagement party at Pollyanna, one of their favorite hang out spots in Roselle.&nbsp; Today they are living in Elk Grove Village where they hope to fill their home with many years of love, laughter, family, and friends.&nbsp; The universe has a funny way of weaving our paths throughout our lives.&nbsp; We are so thankful for each and everyone of you who have played such an important role in helping to shape “our paths.”&nbsp; We love you and can’t wait to celebrate this love on June 28th!

Transportation is provided to take guests to Fishermen's Inn for the wedding day events. The coach bus will depart promptly at 4:30 pm from the entrance of the hotel. At the end of the evening, the coach bus will bring guests back to the hotel at 10:30 pm and 11:30 pm. If guests prefer to drive to Fishermen's Inn, parking is available at the venue. Please be mindful that cars are available to stay at Fishermen's Inn overnight; however, need to be picked up by 10:00 am on Sunday, June 29th.

A block of rooms has been reserved at the Chicago Marriott Naperville Hotel. Room blocks have been created for Friday, June 27th and Saturday, June 28th, depending on the accommodations needed for each guest. Please follow the link below or use the phone number provided to book your reservation for the Bouchard-Lindgren wedding block. Please make sure to have your reservations booked by May 30th, 2025 to receive the discounted price.

The Morton Arboretum is a stunning botanical garden filled with a wide variety of trees, beautiful sculptures, and sprawling gardens. Taylor and Grant and had their engagement photos taken in different garden areas of the park.
