Here are some recommendations for when you start booking your travel for the wedding! Above is a map of the area to help you get your bearings. Be sure to check out the piece about the Banff National Park Fees if you plan on going in or through the city of Banff.
Estimated Drive Times
Calgary to Canmore- 1 hour (65 miles)
Canmore to Banff- 25 minutes (15 miles)
Banff to Lake Louise- 40 minutes (35 miles)
Lake Louise to Jasper- 3 hours (145 miles)
This is the closet airport. It's about an hour drive (65 miles) from the airport to Canmore.
Most of the major airlines have flights to YYC. We're flying on Delta out of CHS with a layover in MSP. For the Atlanta folks, you should be able to get a direct flight. I would also recommend checking out prices with AirCanada as they may be cheaper.
You can pick up at rental car at the airport. Click on the link below to see a list of rental car vendors. We tend to book our rental cars through Costco, so if you are a Costco member that might be a good route for you, but as always I suggest shopping around for the best price.
Double queen and king rooms available. $340 CAD/night (converts to about $250 USD/night)

We do not have any specific Air BnBs to share, but there are a lot of Air BnBs in the Canmore area. We do have a shuttle for rides home from the wedding. They will drop you off at your Air BnB as long as it is within the city of Canmore.
Canmore is only about a 20 minute drive from Banff. If you want to stay in Banff, you will probably have to find a hotel as there are no or very few Air BnBs located within the National Park.
We do NOT recommend staying here the night of the wedding and do NOT have any rooms reserved, but wanted to share as a tip.
We are staying at this hotel the day we fly in to Calgary and the night before we fly out. A lot of the flights coming in and out of Calgary are either late at night or early in the morning. Staying here saves a little bit of time and stress. You can also eliminate some days on your rental car.
If you plan to enter Banff National Park at all, you will have to pay a daily visitor fee. Even if you are not staying in Banff and just having a meal or driving through, you are required to pay the fee. Keep this in mind if you are staying in Canmore, but attending our welcome party. The welcome party is in Banff.
