As most of you know, Taylor and Shane met in 2009 when Taylor noticed Shane while he was playing bump (a basketball game) in the school gym. Taylor got her friend to ask Shane to the Valentine’s Dance for her because she was nervous. Shane said sure why not and they attended the dance together. Despite barely speaking, they slow danced for a couple songs. From there, Taylor and Shane started being ‘on the go,’ then boyfriend and girlfriend, and through the ups and downs of high school and post-secondary, always made their way back to each other. In 2019 they became a family of 3 with their sweet dog, Sadie, and moved into their first apartment together in 2021. In 2023 Shane proposed while on a walk through the Christmas lights - making one of their favourite Christmas traditions extra special. 2024 brought not only wedding planning, but the purchase of their first home where you can find them watching football on the couch, barbecuing on the deck, or hosting friends and family. Now they are counting down to the wedding in October 2025 - they can’t wait to spend it with everyone who has been with them since 2009 and the friends they’ve made along the way!
