Our Wedding

Our story began at SELCO Community Credit Union, where fate quietly worked its magic. Cailen had been with SELCO for six years, and Taylor had just started her journey there. Neither of us were looking for love—but love had other plans.Thanks to a little matchmaking from our coworkers Lydia and Seanna, a simple message turned into something extraordinary. Taylor reached out to Cailen during a cell service outage (great excuse, right?) and discovered he hadn’t seen Stranger Things, a clear emergency. A Netflix login offer later, and the conversation took off.Our first date was a movie night watching Late Night With the Devil, and from that moment on, we were inseparable. We bonded over our shared love of movies, TV shows, basketball, concerts, and cozy nights in. Taylor’s pets Gizmo and Chandler joined the family, and soon we moved in together with Cailen’s cat, Patches—who was thrilled to have a feline friend, but still unsure about Gizmo. It’s fine.By January, they upgraded to a bigger space with a backyard for Gizmo, and life felt even more like home.Then came our one-year anniversary, March 23, 2025. Cailen had been teasing Taylor about choosing between Disneyland or a ring, but little did she know, he had been planning the proposal all along. After a romantic evening of ring browsing, dinner, and dessert, Taylor walked into a home filled with candles, rose petals, a photo board, a balloon arch, and a banner that read “Marry Me?” With Lavender Haze playing in the background, Cailen got down on one knee—and Taylor said yes!
