Jayson and Taylor met when they were in high school at Tabor Academy in Massachusetts. Taylor was just learning to drive and Jayson was rocking his long hockey flow when they first started dating. They were best friends for over a year before they took a chance on each other, despite knowing Jayson was leaving two years before Taylor to chase his hockey dreams in the USHL in Iowa. Taking that chance was the best decision they ever made.

After Jayson left, the two visited each other every chance they could and became pen pals, writing each other letters every week. As time passed, both Taylor and Jayson committed to play division one ice hockey: Taylor at Colgate University and Jayson at the University of Nebraska. When Jayson turned pro and signed with Pittsburgh they often met halfway between Wilkes Barre and Colgate to see each other. They always stayed in touch.

Following Taylor's graduation from Colgate, they spent the summer together. During this time, Taylor accepted a job in New York City without knowing where Jayson was going to sign. Driving home one day, Taylor received a call from Jayson; he told her that the New York Rangers offered him his first one way contract. The universe finally put them back in the same city, and the rest is history.

Last year Taylor moved with Jayson to Vancouver, Canada and they became pup parents to their dog, Enzo. On a sunny day they took a beautiful hike right outside the city. At the top, with an incredible view, Jayson bent down on one knee and asked Taylor to marry him - she said YES! Taylor and Jayson will now be tying the knot at the Rosecliff Manor, where they both celebrated their senior proms. From high school to marriage to happily ever after, these two are meant to be, and cannot wait to celebrate with you!
