It all began at a high school baseball game — small glances at each other with soft smiles.

We were just 16 and 18 at the time and neither one of us knew what would become of us. After the game, we hung out together, talked for hours, and somehow, we’ve never stopped.

For a couple months, we kept our relationship quiet. Sharing little moments only the two of us knew about. But eventually, we couldn’t hide it any longer, and we let our friends and family in on the secret — they didn’t seem too surprised.

From then on, it was smooth sailing. We stayed together through the ups and downs of high school and college, living together, supporting each other through the big changes, and always finding joy in the simplest moments.

When the time came, tyler proposed on the beach at sunset after dinner with my closest family that were watching from afar. It was the perfect setting— a night I’ll never forget.
