Some context for those who haven't had the pleasure of meeting our partner yet:

Taylor and Austin met in late 2019, in Tempe, Arizona, USA. Taylor was born in Boston, Massachusetts and mostly grew up in Phoenix, Arizona while Austin was born in Suffolk, England and moved back and forth between the UK and the US with his father being in the USAF. After his dad retired, Austin moved from England to Arizona where shortly after, he met Taylor.

Taylor and Austin's paths crossing was statistically, incredibly unlikely, and yet the pair shared a number of odd coincidences. Taylor and Austin were born just two weeks apart in the same year, both in Suffolk county, though Taylor was born Suffolk County, Massachusetts and Austin was born Suffolk County, England, both in July of 1997. Both have a Cancer for a mother and a Virgo for a father, both share 7 as a lucky number and both got along from their first date like a house on fire.

Despite coming from different worlds, Taylor and Austin found a shared love for travel, adventure, peace and creative exploits. The two bonded over camping trips as young twenty-somethings, camping all over rural Arizona and exploring historic cities, from Tombstone to Sedona to Williams.

From their first Christmas together, the pair naturally shared in each other's family events on both sides. Taylor and Austin knew they were in for the long-haul from their first year anniversary, wearing promise rings until their engagement in 2024.

The couple lived in Phoenix from the time they met until early 2023 where they moved to Knoxville, Tennessee for Austin's work. They have since built an incredible community of new friends in the area, from work mates to Taylor's Barbershop chorus out of Nashville and likeminded people out of Appalachia. After getting engaged in New Zealand whilst visiting Austin's parents, the pair are now preparing to tie the knot and share their love and this important milestone with the multitude of loved ones they have from all around the world.

Staying ever busy, Taylor has since gone on, with her Barbershop Quartet, Clever Girl, to become the 2025 International Queen's of Harmony with Sweet Adeline's International! A year of making moves indeed!
