Q + A

What should I wear?

The recommended attire is formal, meaning long or midi dresses for women and suits for men (tux optional). Keep in mind the weather may be cold, so dress in layers and bring a jacket!

What shoes should I wear?

The ceremony and reception will be on a lawn, so we recommend block heels, wedges, or flat shoes. NO stiletto type heels because they will get stuck in the grass.

Where should I stay?

Vail village has many hotels, airbnb, and vrbo options. We recommend staying in Vail village if you would like to have a walkable experience to the wedding. Otherwise, there are again many airbnb and vrbo options within the greater Vail area that will be accessible via rental car or the Vail shuttle. Please see travel tab for hotel block information.

How do I travel to Vail?

If flying, we recommend flying into Denver International Airport (DIA) and getting a rental car. The drive to Vail village is roughly 115 miles, which equates to 1.5-2 hours driving depending on traffic and season. Once you are in Vail, it is very walkable, and there are Vail shuttle buses that go around town and are easily accessible. You also have the option to fly into Eagle, Colorado, which is slightly closer than Denver, and again getting a rental car to drive to the wedding location.

When should I arrive?

Plan to arrive the day prior to the wedding if you would like to come to the welcome happy hour. Otherwise, the wedding ceremony begins at 4pm on Saturday, so arrive whenever you see fit!
