We will be hosting a Welcome Party at The Inn at Spanish Bay for guests to mingle and enjoy a Friday night in Carmel with drinks and light bites. This will be held on an outdoor patio overlooking the Pebble Beach coastline.
Note: There will be space heaters / firepits, but we suggest bringing a coat as there will certainly be an ocean breeze and temperatures are expected to drop into the 50s! Portions of the event space are grassy so we recommend avoiding stiletto heels.
There is a guard gate for the community - please indicate you are attending "Joe and Taylor's Welcome Party" and they will waive admission fees. Valet parking at the front entrance to The Inn is free along with free self-parking. Ubers can drop off & pick up from this location as well. There are no coordinated shuttles for this event as we expect guests to arrive and leave throughout the night.

Note: We recommend avoiding stiletto heels as the ceremony is located in the vineyard itself with grassy & woodchip areas.
Please plan to arrive to the venue at 3:45pm. We appreciate the enthusiasm for guests looking to arrive earlier, but the venue has asked that the majority of guests plan to arrive closer to 3:45pm rather than 3 or 3:30pm.
Arriving:
Two shuttles will be provided, one large 56 person bus picking up from La Plaza outside Khaki's in Downtown Carmel (see "Travel" section for location snippet) and one 22 person bus picking up from the Carmel Mission Inn. Shuttles will begin staging at 3pm and depart at 3:30pm sharp. Guests can drive & park directly at Folktale Winery if desired. For guests staying in locations other than downtown or at the Carmel Mission Inn, feel free to use Uber Code "r7iPs7mdpti" for a free ride!
Departing:
A 22 person shuttle will depart at 9pm for guests looking to leave early and a 56 person shuttle will depart at 10pm at the conclusion of the wedding reception. A 22 person shuttle will continue to periodically loop back to the venue to pick guests up from the after party for the remainder of the night until 1:30am. Departing shuttles can drop off at any location, just direct the shuttle driver(s) where you are headed.
