Christian and Taylor first met when they were very young, though neither of them remember it. The two of them went to the same school from elementary school to high school though it wasn't until college that they became friends.

In the summer of 2011, Taylor's sister, Kelsey, had asked Taylor to go to the lake with her and some friends. She was excited to see Christian there. Christian was also excited to see Taylor (and was interested in her mixed drink). Christian proceeded to steal Taylor's drink and then her headband, which he will tell you was a strategic way to get Taylor's phone number. They continued exchanging text messages and phone calls intermittently throughout the next year.

When Christian and Taylor moved home for the summer of 2012, they were spending a lot of time together and eventually Christian had asked Taylor to be his date to his cousin's wedding. The two were just friends at the time, but after enough people referred to them as boyfriend and girlfriend, they decided to make it official, and the rest is history. They have been together for nearly 9 years. Over the course of their relationship, the two have lived in different states, started new jobs, made it through PA school together and now are both happily living and working in Jackson. On July 6th, 2019, Christian popped the question and Taylor answered yes without any hesitation. Because of the Covid pandemic, Christian and Taylor decided to postpone their large wedding celebration in the summer of 2020 until this summer. They did get married surrounded by close family and will be celebrating their one year anniversary together with a vow renewal on July 24, 2021! They hope to see you there!
