If you ask either of us how we met the first thing that always comes out of our mouths is, "we've been best friends since 2nd grade!!" It's an accomplishment that not everyone achieves and a friendship that not everyone is lucky enough to have!

If I could sum up our friendship in one memory, it would getting into Lyndsay's car for our first shopping trip together shortly after we met in high school. I would buckle my seat belt and she would look to me and say " Oh, you don't have to buckle" and I would respond "But I always do." She 's the wild one & I'm the safe one and that combination has made us best friends for the last 10 years!!

Would it be too cliche if I brought up that we met working together at Christy's Bridal, ended up realizing we were roughly the same person, and thne proceeded to be in each others weddings?! Well it's the truth, and the bond with this one has always been like a sisterhood!

We have the same name, it's only reasonable that we like the same boy in high school, buy the same outfits, share the same best friend, and hate each other until one day we realize it was love all along! I'm so thankful for one of my closests friendships that almost didn't happen!!

Gretchen is Peter's older sister and when she got married I didn't know him yet. However, my first memory of Gretchen was helping her pick out bridesmaid dresses from Christy's Bridal when I worked there! It only seems highly ironic and fitting that we now reverse roles ;) I can't wait to finally have her as my sister!

Megan is Peter's younger sister and even though she lives in Minnesota, whenever she comes back home to visit, it's like she never left! Her and Peter are clones and I think this is why I laugh until my stomach hurts when we are all together. It's pretty amazing when you marry someone & get not only a sister but a friend out of the deal!

When you say you've been friends forever, most people don't mean from the time you were literally a day old but in this case it's true! Our dads met in college, her parents were in my parents wedding, and we've grown up since day one together. College roommates was our first step in following in our dads footsteps, now comes the wedding!

Our sweet little niece will be just over 1 at the wedding & we can't wait to see what tricks we will have to use to get her down the aisle!
