In Fall of 2022, Taylor’s brother and sister in law took it into their own hands to create a dating profile on the hunt to find the perfect addition to the Esposito family, and selfishly, find a way to get Taylor to move closer to them in Madison, Wisconsin! After telling Taylor of their scheme, who took this lighthearted idea with an open mind, the three would FaceTime and go through potential matches. Taylor was never enthused by the matches put in front of her, until it came to Evan, where she immediately gave them permission to ‘swipe right’.

On the other side of the budding love story, Evan found himself needing a dog mother to his newly adopted golden retriever, Zoey. He hadn’t been on the app for long, and, just like Taylor, wasn’t interested in pursuing connections until he saw her profile picture, which just so happened to be her with the family’s golden retrievers.

Shortly after they both had “swiped right”, Evan was put through a series of questions by his future in laws that only a man with true patience could stand. After passing the test set out for him, he was connected to Taylor (via group chat, of course).

Evan at the time was living in Dodgeville, WI and Taylor was in Naperville, IL— so the two had no choice but to get to know each other virtually via texts and FaceTime calls. It quickly became apparent the amount of times their paths could have crossed, but didn’t. To name a few— Evan grew up in Minocqua, WI, where Taylor’s family owns a lake home and she has spent her summers there since her childhood. Taylor’s cousins were classmates of Evan when they were growing up, and Evan’s mom and Taylor’s aunt just happen to be best friends- making the start of their love story seem even more like a fairytale.

After many adventures taken and memories made throughout their months of dating, Evan (and Zoey) made the move to Illinois to be with Taylor.

Evan and Taylor knew from early on that they were meant to be, but it was made official in December when Evan popped the question! They can not wait to celebrate the start of their forever with you this summer!
