LONGGGG story short..

I actually knew Alex from high school. He played volleyball in high school and I used to be friends with the guys on his team, so I used to go after school and watch some of their matches. I always thought he was really cute but never thought about him again. About 4 years later, I went to a soccer game with our mutual friend and she wanted to set me up with a guy. WELL, it wasn't Alex. When we were at the game, I looked across the field and saw this guy and a little girl running across. I instantly knew I wanted to marry him. Love at first sight, literally. The rest is history and we can't wait to finally get married!

There is this TikTok trend going around where you go to the store and buy something for the other person from categories. We picked out 5: favorite color, favorite candy, something for the house, seasonal and something for us as a couple. We went to Target and went our separate ways to find something for each other in these categories. We got back home and sat on opposite sides of the ottoman. We went back and forth for each gift, but the last one I went first and then he told me to close my eyes because his gift was "better than mine". So I closed my eyes and then he told me to open them a few seconds later. There he was on one knee and asked me to marry him. It was SOO special because my dad proposed to my mom in the living room of the same house. Something I will remember forever.
