Our Story

How We Met

Thank you for visiting our wedding website! We are so happy and thankful for our friends and family who have seen us grow up, find each other, and then fall in love!

For those of you who don't know already, this is a wedding of a back woods East Texas boy to a Big City Houston gal! Adam was born behind the piney curtain of North East Texas in Henderson, Texas. After high school, he went on to Texas A&M University (Whoop!) to become a 3rd generation Aggie and graduate with a business degree. He then went on to law school at South Texas College of Law where he met a beautiful blonde named Taylor. Taylor grew up right outside of Houston in Sugar Land, Texas. After high school, instead of staying in the state, she landed in Norman, Oklahoma and attended the University of Oklahoma (Boomer Sooner!) where she graduated with a business degree as well.

Now these two love birds knew each other from the first day of law school but it took all three years, on Graduation Day in fact, until a romance sparked! Maybe it was the books they kept their noses in, or the focus on their careers, but the real reason they both stopped and saw their soul mate was by a little push from one of their mothers. When Taylor's mom, Jan FitzGerrell, met Adam at graduation she liked him to say the least. In fact, after meeting him she said, "Taylor! Oh my gosh! That boy is Mr. Personality! How come you have never dated him?" I guess that was the push we needed because he asked me out the very next night, and it's been a fairy tale ever since. I guess it's hard to admit some time, but our mothers are always right! :)

Since graduation, Adam and I have traveled the world, eaten our way through most of the best restaurants in Houston, danced the night away at concerts, and spent the past two years growing more and more in love with each other. It's hard to admit that my name will soon be Taylor Taylor, but I know that when I do it will be the start of the greatest adventure of our lives.

We love you all and can't wait to celebrate on February 17th!
