A classic love story with a hometown twist. Friendship brought them together, adventure kept them connected , budding romance blossomed into a lifetime of love.

Chase and Taylor met in their hometown Montgomery, Texas while they were in elementary school. They knew some of the same people so after Chase was captivated by Taylor in their yearbook he just had to meet her with the help of their mutual friends . From that point in 2007 their friendship was almost instantaneous and continued to grow in the years to come. Often the two shared many of their monumental memories together attending school dances in the same groups, going on double dates, weekend hangouts, sporting events, and even confiding in each other for relationship advice. Sometimes their friends would imply they had a deeper connection than just their friendship, so when they were sophomores in highschool Chase and Taylor were each other's valentines. Though they enjoyed each other's company they decided they valued their friendship connection more and did not want anything to come between it. They continued on throughout highschool having at least one class together each year, confiding in each other and navigating through their teen years together. Towards the end of their junior year Chase was in a relationship that no longer supported his friendship with Taylor, feeling as if there was more between the two, so that summer before their senior year they began to drift apart. That summer they spent their time apart both preparing for which colleges they would attend, with Chase fielding out his baseball scholarship options and Taylor always planning on attending Texas Tech it appeared there wasn't much of a future between them.

Yet as their senior year began Chase and Taylor ended up having English class together that whole year. They attended class often trying to avoid each other in the beginning and sometimes exchanging conversation every now and then. College decisions were being made and Taylor had ended up deciding on UT Tyler since it had a better program for her degree at the time. When baseball signing day came, Taylor and her friends chose to attend all of the other players' signings but miss Chase’s so they could eat lunch. Neither of them knew of the decisions that were made until their English teacher decided to ask Chase during an activity where he signed to play that day. “UT Tyler” Chase said proudly as Taylor looked up realizing they would be attending the same school which also happens to be rather small compared to others in the state. After this they began hanging out often again and even having Taylor’s parents ask questions about him after seeing their interactions at senior cotillion. Their friendship continued as they used to since they were thinking they would be each other's wingmen in college. Feelings began to develop after their friend Kelli’s birthday party so they attended their senior prom together. They began dating shortly after on May 1,2016 while on their Prom trip in Galveston.

Chase and Taylor attended college at The University of Texas at Tyler for four years together. After graduating they both moved back home and in with their parents while Taylor completed her graduate degree and Chase began his working career. They moved into their first apartment together in January 2022. Chase proposed in July 2022 and they enjoyed some travel adventures together while working towards their future goals . They purchased their first fixer upper home together in August 2023 near their hometown in Conroe and have been living there since.

Chase and Taylor’s story highlights the beauty of God’s timing, as we may not always understand why things happen we must always understand His plans for us are greater.
