Our story began when Taylor joined UFG right after college in January of 2020. Andrew was in New York City, and she was back down in West Palm Beach, FL. Once COVID hit, Andrew moved back down to Florida, and we got to meet in person. That’s not where the relationship started though. For numerous years there were many people pushing us to date including one of the biggest proponents of them all, his father, Ray, but neither of us pursued anything for nearly three years.
In October of 2022, a group of friends from work decided to go out for Halloween and this time Andrew joined us, which he usually never did. We talked most of that night and Andrew realized that maybe his Dad, and numerous others, were right about us being a good fit for each other. In November we started talking seriously and going on dates. As to be expected in an environment where Andrew was the son of the CEO, Taylor was extremely nervous and cautious because she had always thought that you shouldn’t date someone from the workplace never mind the CEO’s son of all people. However, after a work Christmas party with some good advice from Andrew’s future cousin-in-law, Montana, coupled with a few great dates we became official on December 11th, 2022.
Fast forward to a year later and here we are! We got engaged on December 20th, 2023, and we’re more in love than we could’ve ever imagined. We’re what each other has been praying for most of our lives, and have become best friends and amazing partners both at work and in life. Looking back, we know the timing of our relationship was perfect, and neither of us would have it any other way. We’re looking forward to starting our lives together through marriage and eventually raising our children in a God center relationship together.
