If you purchase your plane ticket too early then prices will be too expensive. It is best to keep an eye out as prices fluctuate. Apps like Hopper can watch flights for you and alert you when the prices are the cheapest. Taylor and Matt will be watching prices closely and try to send out messages to people for when the best times to purchase would be.

The best place to stay would be the town of Jackson. Please note that Jackson and Jackson Hole are two separate locations. Jackson Hole is located in Teton Village and is where the ski resort is located which is about 20 minutes away from the town of Jackson. Most wedding festivities will occur in the town of Jackson, so it would be ideal to stay in town to decrease driving time. Snow King ski resort is a 5 minute walk to town and would also be a good place to look for condos to stay.

If you plan on driving through the national parks then I would recommend renting a car. We will provide transportation from Jackson to the wedding ceremony and back on the wedding day, but will not be providing transportation throughout the entire weekend. There are ubers available in town as well. There is also a shuttle service that will transport around the town of Jackson and go all the way to Teton Village.

The weather can vary depending on the time of day. For the mornings and evenings you may want pants and a jacket, but it can get up into the 70s-80s duirng the day. If you plan on hiking or doing outdoor activities I would recommending bringing some hiking or trails shoes. There are many lakes around the area if you want to swim, but the water will be very cold! If you plan on going into the backcountry to hike or explore bear spray is always recommended in case there is an encounter with a bear. Bear spray can be purchased in town, or there are some places that will rent you a can for the weekend.

We have formal attire listed as the ceremony attire, however we do not expect guests to wear tuxedos and ballgowns. A suit and tie will be sufficient for men and a nice dress or pant suit will be appropriate for women. It may be chilly in the morning so it may be worth while to bring a jacket if you get cold easily!
