We met at Old Orchard Lanes and Links where Taylor was a bartender and Brian was in a Saturday night bowling league. After a few seasons of Taylor batting her eyelashes and pouring many Jack and Diet Cokes, Brian sent a Facebook message asking for a lunch date at Baxter's before bowling league one Saturday...

Fast forward to Christmas 2023... Taylor had a running joke that Gus was her dog because they had the same last name (when in reality, Brian is one of Gus's favorite humans). Taylor was opening her final Christmas present which was a "Murphy" sign, and when the gift was finally opened, Brian was on one knee, reminding Taylor that Gus can't have his last name until she does. Here's to becoming Mr. and Mrs. Murphy!
