The dress code for our wedding ceremony and reception is black-tie attire. We ask women to wear floor-length evening gowns and gentlemen to wear tuxedoes.
ARE CHILDREN INVITED?
Our wedding is an adults-only affair, only for those 21 years and older. We appreciate you making arrangements for childcare ahead of time and honoring our wishes.
Will transportation be provided?
Yes! We will have transportation available from the Newport Marriott, Newport Harbor Island Resort, and the Holiday Inn Express. Shuttles will take guests to the church for the ceremony, then to the reception, and back to these hotels at the end of the night.
WILL PARKING BE AVAILABLE?
Parking will be available for both our ceremony and reception. For our ceremony, parking will be available in the back of St. Joseph's Church. Guests should drive down Mann Avenue and will see the parking lot. For the reception...
Will the wedding be indoors or outdoors?
The ceremony will be indoors. The ceremony will take place indoors at Saint Joseph's Church. The reception will have an indoor and outdoor option. The cocktail hour will take place on the Island House Lawn and inside the Island House itself. The reception will take place in the Island House.
WHEN SHOULD I ARRIVE?
For guests in town on Thursday looking to kick off the weekend, we invite you to join us after dinner at The Landing for a welcome party! On Friday, our ceremony will begin promptly at 4:30 pm. Please keep in mind, unless requested otherwise check-in time for our hotel blocks (and most hotels in the area) is at 4:00 pm the day of arrival. We kindly ask guests to make arrangements in accordance.
Do you have any restaraunt reccoemndations for thursday night?
There are so many great spots in Newport! We recommend Clarke Cooke House, The Black Pearl, 22 Bowens, Midtown Oyster Bar, The Mooring, Giusto, and Forty 1° North.
