The Greatest Love Story

Taylor and Hunter met freshman year of high school at Lincoln High. They built a strong friendship that began to grow into something more over the next two years. On August 24th, 2014, Hunter took Taylor on a date and gave her a single rose asking her to be his girlfriend. The two grew up together over the next four years.   They graduated high school and each decided to attend separate universities hours apart. Taylor attended Kansas State University in Manhattan, Kansas while Hunter attended the University of Nebraska at Kearney in Kearney, Nebraska. The two made trips to visit for the weekend, spent holidays together and continued to work through the long distance. Long distance is hard, especially at 20 years old.   From 2018 until 2020, Taylor and Hunter spent time apart. They each spent those two years learning about themselves and growing into who they were meant to be.   After those two years of independence and growth, Taylor sent Hunter a text message wishing him a happy holidays and asking how he's been. And just like that, they found their way back to each other. They went for drinks to find out who they were now. The feelings never changed; after all that time they were still there.   Then the long distance began again. Hunter began a new position in Joplin, Missouri where he lived for a year while Taylor lived in Lincoln, Nebraska during the pandemic. The next year Hunter moved to Arkansas for work while Taylor moved to Austin, Texas for work and school. They spent these two years traveling just to spend weekends together.   Finally, in June of 2022, Hunter started a new position and moved to Austin. They put in the work, growth and love for years to make it to Austin together. It was all worth it when Hunter asked Taylor to marry him on December 2nd, 2022 while their friends and family surprised her at Central Machine Works in Austin.   Today, they live in Austin together with their dogs, Riggins and Cooper, making new friends and more memories. 2024 marks a decade of fighting for each other and the life that they have built thus far. Their story is the greatest love story and it is only just beginning.

Bailey and Taylor have been best friends since they were 12 years old. They have been grown up together and have dreamed about this day for as long as they can remember. They have never let time or distance get in the way of their friendship over the years. Taylor is over the moon that her best friend will be standing next to her on her big day!

Mackenzie and Taylor have been friends for over a decade.  The girls both attended Lincoln High School and then moved to Manhattan, Kansas to attend Kansas State University. Mackenzie and Taylor were roommates all four years at K-State and made the most of their college years together. Taylor is so grateful to have her person by her side on this day!

Kami and Taylor met at cheer tryouts for Kansas State back in 2016 and have been best friends ever since. The girls traveled to various Big 12 stadiums, appeared at Big 12 Media Days and competed in NCA College Nationals together in Daytona. They were roommates their senior year of college before graduating in May of 2020. Kami and Taylor each moved to Texas after graduation and live just a few hours from one another. Taylor is honored to have Kami there on her big day!

Colleen and Taylor were introduced by their husband and future husband in July of 2021. They had both recently moved to Austin, Texas from Nebraska. The night they met there was an instant connection and a friendship was formed that would last a lifetime. They have been each other's support system as they lived so far their families. Taylor is so grateful that their paths have crossed and that Colleen could be standing with her on this day!

Doug and Taylor met at Kansas State cheerleading tryouts in May of 2016. Their sophomore year of college, they were made stunt partners and have been best friends ever since. They were roommates for the last two years of college and made many memories together. Doug and Taylor both moved to Texas after graduation and are only a few hours apart now. Taylor is beyond grateful to have Doug here on her big day and still trusts that he will be there to catch her!

Michaela and Taylor met in May of 2021 when they began training as Behavior Therapists at Action Behavior Centers. Michaela took Taylor under her wing and made her feel welcome as she spent the first year in Austin without Hunter. Michaela also introduced Taylor and Hunter to their church in Austin and they attend together frequently. Faith has always been the foundation of their friendship. Taylor is so lucky to have Michaela next to her on her big day!

Arden and Taylor met in 2021 while working as Behavior Therapists in Austin. Their friendship quickly grew from coworkers to best friends through hours on Facetime, nights out and long days of work. Arden has been a huge part of making Austin feel like home.  Taylor is extremely excited to have Arden be a part of this day!

Wesley and Hunter have been best friends since before they can remember. The two have made endless memories together over the years and continue to make more. They spent time cheering on their older brothers until it was their time to compete and cheer each other on. Hunter is grateful to have Wesley in his corner for this big day. 

Wesley Dawkins

Hunter has known Chase all of his life as his brother. From playing backyard football and baseball to always being in each others corner when competing, the two have always been one another's biggest supporters. Hunter is so grateful to have Chase cheering him on at every important moment for him, especially his wedding day!

Hunter has known Jordan for his entire life as his brother. Jordan has always been a great role model in Hunter's life. Hunter has always been able to count on Jordan's love and support throughout his life. He is beyond happy to have him be a part of this special day!

Jonathan and Hunter first met in Boy Scouts when they were 13. Their true friendship grew when they attended the same college and were roommates for 2 years at UNK. Jonny and Hunter made countless memories together in Kearney, Lincoln, Omaha and Austin. Hunter is grateful to have Jonny stand up with him on September 28th as he marries Taylor. 

Jonathan Killingsworth

Jack and Hunter have known each other their entire lives. Not only are they cousins, but they have grown up together as best friends. Growing up together they always looked forward to hanging out and playing games together. Hunter is excited to celebrate this day with his life long friend.

Hunter and James attended the same college, but their friendship grew when Taylor moved to Austin where James was living. Since meeting for drinks to catch up in July of 2021, they have spent many weekends with Colleen, James's wife, and Taylor exploring their new home of Austin. Hunter is looking forward to celebrating this special day with James. 

James Rader

Dylan and Hunter met working for the same company when they were 22. From business trips to company meetings they quickly formed a strong friendship with one another. Dylan and Hunter have traveled across states to spend time together with drinks, golf and video games. Hunter could not be happier to have Dylan be a part of his wedding party.

Tyler and Hunter met while watching their brothers compete in wrestling at UNK. They would find themselves a couple years latter attending the same college as roommates. They spent the next 4 years living together and created a strong friendship. Hunter is looking forward to celebrating this day with Tyler. 

Tyler Labudda

Sean and Taylor have always had a deep connection! Sean is Taylor's cousin, but has always been an older brother figure to Taylor. Sean has been supportive of all of Taylor's passions and protective over her happiness. When Sean met Hunter for the first time, Sean raved about how perfect Hunter was for Taylor and has been one of their biggest supporters throughout their relationship. Taylor and Hunter are both so grateful to have Sean here on this special day!

Dylan is one of the couple's closest friends! Dylan and Taylor met through work as behavior therapists at Action Behavior Centers in 2021 when Taylor first moved to Austin. He has always been there for Taylor from movie nights to exploring her new home. Taylor and Hunter now live two houses down from Dylan and continue to spend time and make new memories with Dylan everyday. They are so grateful to make new memories with Dylan on this special day!

In honor of James, who was meant to be part of the wedding celebration, Taylor and Hunter understand and respect his decision to stay home as he eagerly awaits the birth of his child. His love and support mean the world to the couple, and while he cannot be here in person, his presence is deeply felt in our hearts. Taylor and Hunter send their best wishes to him and his growing family during this special time.

WHAT IS THE ATTIRE?We ask that all of our guests are in Semi-Formal. If you would like to dress with our wedding colors, please wear rust, burnt orange or neutral browns. (Dressing with the colors is absolutely not required.) IS THERE AN OPEN BAR?We are having an open bar for a limited time during the reception. After that, the bar will turn into a full cash bar. The cash bar will be available the entire evening for beers, mixed drinks and signature cocktails. WHEN SHOULD I ARRIVE TO THE CEREMONY?We ask that all of our guests arrive at least 15 minutes before the ceremony begins. IS THERE TRANSPORTATION FROM THE HOTEL TO THE VENUE?There is no transportation provided to the hotel from the venue or from the venue to the hotel. Uber and Lyft are common transportations that may be convenient for your travels. Please plan ahead of time! WILL I HAVE FUN?Of course! It's time to celebrate Taylor &amp; Hunter!
