It was November 22nd 2021 when Taylor started her new job in Westfield IN. Little did she know, the man of her dreams was just down the hall. Eric was anything but subtle with the cheesy pick-up lines. With Taylor just starting her new position, she wasn’t too keen on risking it for some boy. But after 5 months of persistence Taylor, exhausted from the pick-up lines, finally asked Eric out. Cliffhanger…. He said yes. They enjoyed float trips down the river, vacations to California & Florida, and meeting each other’s friends. Taylor’s family needed convincing. Eric’s family on the other hand threatened to disown him if he ruined this relationship. They continued happily dating as their lives began to build around one another.

It was July 9th 2023. They visited Taylor’s family for a weekend trip to her sister’s lake house. They had a fun filled weekend. As they were packing up to leave, Taylor’s mom insisted on a family photo. Just so happens, Eric had been considering a proposal the entire weekend. Not only did the family photo surprise everyone, but the thought of proposing during the photo surprised Eric even more (see photos). Eric’s spontaneous habits got the better of him so he thought it’s now or never. Regardless of the awkward 4 hour trip home if Taylor said no. Cliffhanger … She said yes!!
