In the beginning, they were just two young immature kids laughing at childish jokes and preparing to go to high school…ten+ years later they are still laughing at the same childish jokes, but they are a little more educated, a little more in debt, and a lot more in love. Taylor & Andrew started their relationship like most fairytales…. In Jr. High science class. Things started as a simple friendship but soon grew to something more. Well, as much as you can expect for two Jr. High kids. Over the years Taylor & Andrew have had the opportunity to grow up together and truly find themselves individually while being supported by one another.

Their support of each other was present in everything that they did. Whether it was helping with schoolwork or attending sporting events, they were always there. Through Jr. High & High School they had so many meaningful experiences together such as volunteering at camps, mission trips, homecoming court, dances, plays, concerts, etc. These experiences continued to grow their relationship. As high school ended and college was coming near they were both excited about the challenge.

With college being completely different from what they were used to in their relationship so far, it took some getting used to, but they definitely racked up the miles in their cars the first couple of years visiting each other on the weekends. As they found their groove through college they continued to find experiences that would bring them closer together. As graduation was approaching for Andrew he had his sights set on a special day.

In the summer of 2020, Andrew decided that it was time to bring a good thing into the crazy world that we all had around us. After months of planning and some definite manipulation, (it was for good reason) Andrew was able to catch Taylor when she least expected it. With the help of a few friends, he was able to put together a perfect proposal. Once he popped the question and after she “blacked out for a couple of seconds” she graciously accepted.

After the happy tears dried and the shock started to subside, Taylor was on the hunt for the venue of her dreams. Less than 24 hours after the proposal Taylor was begging Andrew to visit the “perfect venue” although it was a drive, Andrew was happy to explore. After visiting, she knew it was THE one. As for Andrew… well I guess he is learning early, Happy Wife=Happy Life. From then on wedding planning went into full swing.

Fast forward almost two years and they have a gorgeous pup (Lua), a beautiful first home, and two new jobs. They are incredibly excited for the next step in their life together. It has been a long time coming, but you know what they say, “the best things in life are worth waiting for.”
