Taylor:
 
Despite having grown up just a couple blocks away, we never officially met until our first years at OU. While I was in college, a family with three little girls moved in 2 doors down from my parents. When I met Savannah, she let me know that her nephew (Caden) was single and that we could be perfect together. She told me she was going to send him my number and encourage him to ask me on a date.
 
Caden finally texted me and asked me on a date at the end of November. We went on our first date on December 4th, 2018. On this date, I remember feeling immediately comfortable with Caden and loved how openly he talked about his faith. Two things were clear to me from the moment I met him- Caden loved the Lord and his family- two things important to me in a future husband. On this date, I knew Caden was an incredible person and that together, we could be special. Looking back, it easily could have been love at first sight.
 
 
Taylor & Caden:
 
From the start, we decided to devote our relationship to the Lord, with a strong commitment of keeping Christ at the center. We began to build upon a foundation cemented in Christ by serving together, and creating community at our church. Our love for family fostered countless hours of intentional time with each other’s, knowing that they would one day become ours. In each season of life, it has become abundantly clear that we were created for each other, and we began to see what our lives would look like together.
 
Caden:
 
Four years of dating, four years worth of memories raced through my mind as I sat in the driver's seat of my car on our four year dating anniversary in December 2022. I knew Norman, Oklahoma had a special place in both of our hearts; with so many memories it was hard to choose where I would drop to one knee. I had decided to create a book full of the greatest moments our relationship gave me during our time together. I chose a place that was beautiful, that had no special meaning to our lives before, but now that park in Norman will forever be the start of our lifetime of memories.
 
Taylor & Caden:
 
Our relationship gets better and better in each season and we can’t wait to see what God has for us in marriage. We are excited to celebrate with our friends and family on our wedding day, and appreciate each of our guests' investment in our marriage. Thank you for being a part of our story.
