Taylor and Sean met playing intramural basketball in 2018 at Hope College. After the season was over, they went on their first date. They spent their time in college attending each other's sporting events, spending time with friends and family, studying together, going on dates and family vacations, and enjoying West Michigan summers. The Spring of 2022, Sean proposed to Taylor after Easter Sunday church service at Mt. Pisgah, in Holland. They celebrated their engagement with friends and family by their sides. Since then, Taylor has been finishing her BSN at Hope, studying and taking her boards, and orienting to a new position as an RN. Sean started his teaching career at West Ottawa High School and has been coaching at the varsity level. Together, they have been wedding planning and searching for a place to call home.
