Our love story began when we were introduced through mutual friends at Iowa State. We were both freshmen and trying to learn what college was all about. Colby made friends on his dorm floor who happened to be some of Taylor's best friends! The ultimate setup began. Colby asked Taylor to dinner and the rest is history. After two dates, the COVID shutdown began. The first year of our relationship was in quarantine - so fun! Looking back, it was actually a blessing. During this time we got to know one another very well. Quarantine was filled with lots of quality time, family time, and love. We became fast best friends, and fell deeply in love. Through the past four years, we have grown immensely individually and together. We have faced many challenges that we have overcome together, which has made us stronger. We have learned about one another through vulnerability and trust. As a couple, we have kept Christ at the forefront of our relationship, and we are excited to see what God has in store!
