It all started on the basketball court. I was in high school, and Matthew was still in middle school. I never played defense (ask anyone!), but somehow I got stuck guarding him during a scrimmage. Big mistake. We became the best of friends for a couple years until we could finally make it official ... once he got into high school. Haha! We’ve truly grown up together — from awkward teenage years and high school hallways to first jobs, college stress, and finding our paths in the world. We’ve seen each other through every stage of life, and with every challenge and celebration, we chose each other again and again.
